Why Is Medicare So Hard to Understand?

You’re turning 65, or helping someone who is. Suddenly, you’re expected to make permanent healthcare decisions with very little guidance.

You’ve got to figure out Parts A, B, C, and D, avoid penalties, choose the right path, and make it all work with your budget. And somehow, you’re supposed to do this without any formal education.

Most people don’t even realize what they’re missing until it’s too late.

What Happens When You Get It Wrong

Start researching Medicare and it quickly gets overwhelming:

  • Government websites are confusing

  • YouTube videos oversimplify or contradict each other

  • Mailboxes fill with sales materials that push you to enroll

  • And everyone seems to assume you already speak "Medicare" fluently

It’s stressful, high stakes, and hard to know who to trust.

You worry about making a bad decision like choosing the wrong plan, missing a deadline, or locking in higher costs for life. You’re not alone. This happens to people every day.

Here’s the Smart Way to Start

The Prepare for Medicare Mini-Course gives you the clarity, confidence, and tools you need to make the right decisions without pressure, confusion, or wasted time.

  • Understand the three main ways people get coverage
